Ben leads Edelman DXI’s Predictive Intelligence practice, applying advanced data science, econometrics and predictive analytics to help clients spot trends, manage risks and measure impact. Based in the SF Bay Area, Ben is a strategic and innovative data science and analytics leader with nearly 20 years of experience delivering measurable impacts via data-driven insights at companies like Meta, Google, Twitter, Target, LEGO, Best Buy, Coca-Cola, Verizon and the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. He has consistently focused on leveraging the latest and greatest developments in AI/ML and other analytics tools and technologies to evolve existing and develop new solutions to strategically important business problems. He holds bachelor’s degrees in systems engineering and economics from the University of Virginia and has been enamored with efficiency and optimization ever since discovering the sports statistics pages of the newspaper in grade school.
Outside of work, Ben spends most of his time in Oakland with his 5-year-old daughter Layla and a number of other family and friends in the Bay Area. He’s a yoga and meditation teacher, rock climber, golfer, snowboarder and loves when he finds time to share good food and wine with his tribe, get outside to ground in nature or relax while consuming TV, movies or books.
